An SFA is a a pre-existing non-profit/non-governmental organization or a grassroots project that has a fiscal relationship with the Basin Wide Foundation for the purpose of helping it to achieve its mission. Being a SFA allows the sponsored project to solicit grants and donations through the Basin Wide Foundation for a nominal fee. The Foundation takes on the liability for the use of the funds and all operations of sponsored project. A contract with certain conditions must be complied with to ensure the continuation of the sponsorship.

If you are interested in becoming an SFA under the Basin Wide Foundation please fill out our SFA Application, and submit to the Office Manager at BasinWideInfo@gmail.com. All applications go before the Board of Directors for approval.
Please note, the Foundation looks carefully at your projects mission, leaders and strategic plan. The Basin Wide Foundation becomes the umbrella organization until the SFA can obtain its own 501 c3 non-profit status. Please indicate the timeline in the application that you would need.
